Product Details
Alumina bricks generally refer to Alumina silicate bricks, with Al2O3 and SiO2 contents as main contents, and Fe2O3, Na2O, K2O, TiO2 as impurities.
With different Al2O3 contents, alumina bricks include fire clay bricks(Al2O3 content within 48% with Kaolin as raw material), high alumina bricks (Al2O3 content 48%-85%, with bauxite as raw material), dense mullite bricks, silimanite bricks, corundum bricks(Al2O3 content over 90% with corundum as raw materials) etc.
Technical data of alumina bricks generally include chemical composition(content of Al2O3 and Fe2O3), bulk density, apparent porosity, cold crushing strength, permanent liner change and refractoriness under load 0.2 MPa.
With higher Al2O3 content, bricks are with
Less impurities
better thermal resistance
Higher crushing strength
Better corrosion resistance
Less permanent liner change
More stable performance
But thermal shock resistance of corumdum bricks are weaker than high alumina bricks and mullite bricks, so bricks with higher Al2O3 content are generally used as working lining of furnaces, kilns and boiler with stable temperature.
Producing process: Grinding of raw material--Batching-- Shaping with hydraulic press-- firing in tunnel kilns--- inspection and packaging in warehouse
LONGKETER supplying a comprehensive range of HIGH ALUMINA BRICKS.Alumina content up from 45%-95% and service temperature up to 1900℃ are classified to HIGH ALUMINA BRICKS.
Key Features for high alumina FIREBRICKS
● Excellent corrosion resistance to neutral slag and metal penetration resistance at high liquid temperature.
● Improved thermal shock and corrosion resistance at high temperature
● High density, high mechanical strength and good volume stability at high temperature
Typical Applications
● Good for iron and steel marking operation at the area of working zone in ladle and EAF roof
● For reheating furnace such as anchor brick and burner block
● Transition and cooling zone of rotary cement kiln , lime shaft kiln etc
● Bottom and door foundry air furnace and side wall of aluminum refining melting furnace , etc
